Our tour in Kathmandu turned out to be a really nice experience! Although our original guide, Sovit, couldn’t make it that day, he kindly arranged for a friend to take us on the tour instead — something I really appreciated, as it allowed us to enjoy the city as planned. The substitute guide had a basic command of English, but it was enough to communicate well and guide us through the different sides of Kathmandu. We visited several interesting spots, got a great sense of the city’s atmosphere, and even took a taxi to the famous Monkey Temple after he asked if we’d like to go — which we were all excited about! Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable day, and I appreciated the effort to make sure the tour still happened despite the last-minute change.

We had Sovit’s brother Badri for our tour. He was knowledgeable, kind and happy to answer any questions. He also did well to get us good taxi prices when we went to the monkey temple. Highly recommend! A great walking tour around Kathmandu.

Very enjoyable and informative tour with Sovit. He explained the history of the places visited and answered all our questions in detail. It was smooth flowing, Sovit ensured we fitted as much in as possible in the time and positioned us to get the best photos. 😀 Sovit was genuine and considerate of our age (in our 60s) during the tour.
