A experiência foi incrível! Conhecer o Porto através do olhar sensível da Romena, com histórias de mulheres tão fortes foi maravilhoso. Foi um passeio completo passando pelo Palácio de Cristal, Jardim das Virtudes, Ribeira e tantos outros cantinhos da cidade que ainda não conhecia. Recomendo fortemente para aqueles que querem mergulhar na história da cidade e conhecer as mulheres que venceram barreiras de seu tempo.

Andreia was very sweet and I had a lovely long walk with her around the city. The tour felt like a stroll with a friend and I appreciated that. Was refreshing to hear about women that usually get forgotten of in minstream tours. Recommended :)

Great experience after essential Porto walking tours.3 hours walk outside the central of Porto which makes it more appealing.and the interesting stories of the Porto entrepreneur women ! We did not make the casual street walking.I highly recommend.

This is an incredibly well curated tour. It's not about feminism or any radical position. Instead, it's a history tour told through the perspectives of women of Porto. Andreia took us through different epochs of Portugues history with stories about local women who either achieved something great, contributed to the city in some way, or simply had a wild life story that needs to be shared. Believe me, this tour not just for women (or feminists). It's a great tour for everybody who wants to see the city of Porto from a different angle than the classical tourist tours. You will not be disappointed as the stories cover many genres: female independence, love, arts, business success, educational excellence as well as a a dark chapter. Sign up to experience it yourself. By the way, we covered quiet a large distance by foot, so wear comfortable shoes.

Amazing tour! Got to learn about so many incredible women and see lots of the iconic Porto sports along the way, plus some other neighbourhoods and monuments I wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Andreia is a great storyteller and wonderful guide.

The tour was well researched and the stories got better and better with each stop, Stay until the end. These women who lived in Porto, who lived courageously, are not discussed in the regular historical or monument tours! It is a small niche tour so you can ask lots of questions and discuss in more detail. We walked up and down hills, 5 km in total (9.2k steps); one hill is quite steep but you can take breaks and it is worth it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to know more about females contributions in art, education, activism, and much more. Romana is so friendly and approachable, I real enjoyed all the stories of these remarkable women that she shared and will take these stories home with me. Thank you!

Great tour, although more niche but I found this more interesting. The guide is lovely and can give recommendations as well as info. A reasonable amount of walking so be ready for this, altho a lot is downhill.

Romana hat die Tour unfassbar toll gemacht! Wir waren nur zu dritt unterwegs, was es sehr heimelig gemacht hat. Die Tour ist super spannend - die Geschichten der einzelnen Frauen sehr interessant und inspirierend. Romana hat alles sehr lebendig und mit viel Begeisterung erzählt. Wir konnten alle Fragen stellen - auch allgemein zu Porto und Romana hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Romana ist ein toller Guide. Absolut empfehlenswert.

The tour with Andreia was super interesting. We got to learn about badass women who made history in Porto like Lady Ferreira (yes the lady from the port wine- and also the one where two husbands "magically" died). She also was super friendly and gave us helpful advice for our stay in the city. It was an experience that we wouldn't have wanted to miss. Thank you!!

What a great tour! Andreia was friendly, gave great recommendations and showed us a whole different side of Porto! The stories about the women of Porto were super interesting and varied- from higher class women to academics and artists, to feminists and revolutionaries to sex workers, I feel like I learned a lot. Would highly recommend, especially for anyone who wants an out of the ordinary tour experience :)

Andreia fue una guia maravillosa. Nos conto muchas cosas sobre las mujeres relevantes de la ciudad, como vivieron y su historia. También nos hizo muy buenas recomendaciones. Es un tour muy recomendable, lo volveríamos a repetir sin duda. Muy buena profesional.

Andreia is an experienced tour guide with a great understanding of both her city and the information she provides. The tour is mysterious and original, and the content will leave you wanting more. What I most liked was the local spots we stopped at which varied between amazing sea views, gardens, and art scenes (I won’t say more to avoid spoilers), as well as the cool stories and facts that I learned about. I also liked that I was able to ask all the questions I had as Andreia was very open and affable. I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience something different and memorable, as the women you will learn about truly shaped the city of Porto as we know it today and left a valuable legacy behind them.
