Shanti was very knowledgeable on HoiAn and its history. She let us through the whole area and gave us recommendation for other things to do. Her English was very good so she was easy to understand. It’s easy to see she loves her country and the people. She was always aware of where we all were and made sure no one got lost. If you get Shanti as your guide, you will love her.

Sanh is very interactive and entertaining in sharing the history and facts about Hoi An. We learned a lot from him and he brought us to some places which is very interesting and relevant to his storytelling. Also, he gave us some tips and guide on where to go during our stay. Very great experience and highly recommended!

Kun is a young, entertaining and very enthusiastic guide. As this is the low season (monsoon), my husband and I were the only 2 in her tour so it felt very much like a private one. She's very knowledgeable as I asked her many questions beyond the history of Hoi An (HA). We talked about the predominantly yellow-orange colour of HA's buildings, why HA is a major tailor hub, food and drinks, religion, government, crops of Vietnam, jobs for young people, etc. She pointed out architectural details of the Old Town's buildings, showed us a local Chinese house with the 7th and 8th generations still living there, etc. She was very considerate of us as we are probably older than her parents. We quizzed her about her personal history too as our daughters are older than her--the opportunities she could have had if she was born in S'pore. She has a lovely voice, frequently breaking out in song with lyrics appropriate to the topics we talked about. Cracked me up. We've been on free walking tours in many parts of the world - Sydney, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, UK, Taiwan - Kun's easily the most entertaining and exuberant. She has a great personality. She went over and beyond her duties--at the end of the tour, she brought us to the market to buy luggage tags I requested, walked us to The Tailory to collect my husband's suit and introduced Nu eatery to us; a cafe with delicious food. My only regret is that we could have booked the tour at the beginning of our holiday instead of the last day. I'd have loved to go on the other tours Kun leads.

It was a pleasure to learn about the city from Huang. He is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and gave us a very good account of the varied history of Hoi An. We would highly recommend him for anyone looking to understand the history and culture of this place.

Tom was a fabulous guide. He took us around taking care not to visit places we had already seen ourselves earlier in the day. His knowledge and passion of his country is plain to see and we learned a lot of interesting information. Tom is a very pleasant and courteous young man and we feel lucky to have met him

We had a wonderful tour of Hội An with Kun! She knows so much about the city and Vietnamese culture & history, and shared stories and insights that made exploring it even more memorable. She was warm, funny, and made it easy to connect with her and ask questions. We came away feeling like we’d experienced more than just the sights. Thank you, Kun, for such a lovely tour! ✨

We had a lovely evening with the best tour guide ever. Her name was Kun. We learned so much about the history of the town and Vietnam. Kun was such a warm and funny guide. Besides history we got to know a lot of the culture and the local traditions. Everbody who visits Hoi An should do this tour. I recommend to do this on your first day, so you have a lot of insights and tips for your stay. It Was truely a blessing to have Kun as our guide. We had already many walking tours in our life and we both agreed that this was the best walking tour we ever had! So book this tour!

I had an amazing private tour around Hoi An with Kun. Even though it ended up being just the two of us, it was a truly fantastic and super fun experience from start to finish! She is a wonderful guide with exceptionally good English that is super clear and easy to understand. She shared so much fascinating, brand-new information about the city's history and local culture, and she is just so nice and pleasant to be around. I enjoyed every single minute of it. Highly recommended!

June fue la mejor guia que podriamos haber tenido. Nos pregunto por nuestro interés real y se adapto a nosotros. Habla ingles muy fluido y explica las cosas con corazón. Se nota que le gusta lo que hace y lo sabe transmitir muy bien 😊 estuvo muy atenta a nosotros en todo momento y fue super cercana, casi como pasear por hoi an con una amiga que vive alli, 100% recomendable 🤍

We recommend taking a free walking tour at the beginning of your trip, as it’s a great way to get an overview of the area and learn more about its history and culture.

Vy war eine super Stadtführerin:)! Sie ist sehr kommunikativ und offen. Zudem zeigt sie bei der Tour coole Spotts und erzählt viel über ihre Kultur. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen.

Great tour. We received lots of information about the local culture. Tom was very nice. We even stopped at a restaurant so we could try local vegan dumplings. He also provided a lot of tips for restaurants and things to do in town.
