I arrived in Bath this morning and had a few hours to kill will my wife and daughter went to the spa. So I looked to see if any walking tours were happening today. I didn't do an exhaustive search but the 'hidden Bath' looked interesting. It follows the route of the old Roman walls and then heads across Poultney bridge to Sydney Gardens, a distance of about 2miles. Susan provided lots of information about the development of Bath, particularly during the 18th century as the town was rebuilt and expanded. She also showed us lots of photos so we could see what Bath used to look like.
