Hicimos el free tour pero el guía no era Daniel. El recorrido fue correcto, nos llevó a los lugares indicados en la ruta, pero la explicación resultó muy pobre. Apenas hubo aportación histórica y prácticamente no recibimos información, ni a nivel general del país ni en detalles concretos. Creo que si se envía a alguien en lugar del guía principal, debería asegurarse que tenga la preparación suficiente para no dejar la sensación de comparar “a peor”.
Zeitverschwendung. Der Guide wirkte unvorbereitet, hatte keinen eigenständigen Plan, was er erzählen wollte und konnte auf Fragen nur bedingt eingehen (Warum gibt es in Skopje so viele Denkmäler? Er antwortete: weil Mazedonien so eine große Geschichte hat.). Zur Geschichte einer Karawanserei, deren Namen er nicht nennen konnte, hätte ich mir auch mehr Informationen gewünscht als: das ist da, wo die Leute früher wohnten und gegessen haben. Das es sich um eine Karawanserei handelte wußte ich aus meinem Reiseführer. Einen solchen hat dieser Guide sicher vorher nicht gelesen, es wäre ihm sehr zu empfehlen.
