Abdallah was both informative and entertaining. He provided much more insight than I expected. For example, I had never heard of white Europeans participating in ancient Egyptian religion — yet the sign at the Luxor temple even said, "Please do not hold rituals." We also discussed how religion in Egypt evolved over time, including how Islam arrived and transformed the region. Abdallah certainly offered more than what the tour originally promised.
Abdallah was wonderful! Very insightful in his explanations and very professional. The best part was having his interpretation of the hieroglyphs, this really helped our understanding of Egyptian culture and made the experience really special.
