Hi .. my name is Josué but you can call me Josh. I have been a tour guide since 2018 before being in the Cape Verde islands to teach sign language. I love other cultures and people now ... I have a love affair with Sintra, born, lived and married ... I want YOU to be part of that story.
Highly recommend Josué, being a local from the town of Sintra he was extremely knowledgeable as well as making the tour very entertaining. One of our favourite Guru walks.
Josue was great. He was friendly and informative and casual. Easy going and walked at a steady pace. We got to see a lot in the old city as well as learned a lot of history.
Be careful, he can cancel your tour last minute...
I received an email confirming the tour, and another person also turned up at the meeting point but the guru did not show. We had caught an early train to get to Sintra and waited 20 minutes before trying to contact him. He later said he had cancelled the tour but we were not notified. It was also then surprising to receive an email asking for a review of the tour! It was very inconvenient as it was too late to make other arrangements. Zero stars!
Great tour! Josué shared with us a lot of historical knowledge and also some legends, secrets, took us to try traditional food. Would recommend the tour!
