Tengo 34 años, nací y crecí en Sarajevo. Tengo un título en ciencias políticas, por lo que la historia y la política son mi pasión. Merima is a wonderful host and I highly recommend her tour. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. The structure of the tour is fantastic and the summary overview right at the beginning was very helpful. Hearing about local attitudes and Merima's personal view on various topics was very interesting and was much better than just hearing the sanitised and neutral information that could easily be found elsewhere.
Very exciting tour, Neno knew everything and told a lot of stories from his own life from the war. He showed pictures from the war. Very excited about the tour.
This is one of the best walking tours I have ever done. Not it super informative and interesting but Merima intertwined the facts with personal experiences of her own and others within her community so you get such a true understanding and of what life was like in Sarajevo at this time. While she doesn’t make light of the seriousness of the topic she delivers the information with a very dark sense of humour (which was very much appreciated) while still managing to convey the realness of the situation. I would highly recommend this tour with Merima.
