My name is Aiguerim (it’s like “I” + “green”, with an “m” instead of “n” at the end 😉), but you can call me Amy! 🙋♀️ I’m a certified guide in Almaty, the "Southern capital" of Kazakhstan, also called the City of Apples🍎 I did some work in journalism, then I taught English as a tutor and also taught Russian to foreigners:) I enjoy many things like cooking, hiking, singing, travelling, and languages — apart from English, I learned Spanish - el español, la lengua más linda!☺️ I’ve been to 11 countries and I’m planning to visit more!

Despite it being cold & rainy Aiguerim’s tour of Almaty was fantastic. I learned so much about the history & culture of the city. Aiguerim is a friendly & knowledgable guide & we had a great time together. She followed up with some further recommendations of places & cafes etc to visit. Highly recommend!
Aiguerim was fantastic! We enjoyed her good nature, willingness to take photos of us, was knowledgeable about history and city facts and kindly answered many of our cultural questions. She helped us with some market purchases. It was a relaxed pace.
