It was better than I expected. Had a great time with the fellow travelers. Our guide was extremely nice and well informed.
The tour is quite long and it gets better when you start asking questions, as many information might not be directly transmitted because its not main stream. I really enjoyed the personal side offered by my guide, but I found disrespectful people who would be just talking or minding their business in the middle of the guide intervention.
It was a very refreshing take on Almaty with a cheerful Aiguerim who ensured there was never a dull moment. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Almaty!
