Had a wonderful walking tour of Almaty with Aiguerim, she is an incredible guide with an wonderful passion for Almaty and her English is fantastic. This walking tour is truly one of its kind, covering almost all the highlights Almaty has to offer as a city (apart from the mountains). Kudos to Aiguerim for thoughtfully putting it together. The only downside is that at 4 hours long, it can feel a little tiring or stretched towards the end — but that doesn’t take away from the effort she puts in to make you feel welcomed in Kazakhstan and to share so much valuable information about this fascinating place. The more you engage with her and fellow participants, the less exhausting it feels and the more enjoyable it becomes. Overall, it’s a great way to experience, see, and learn more about Almaty. Highly recommended!
