Hi, my name is István! I was born and raised in Hungary and I am happy to call Budapest my home for over 10 years now.
I have a huge love for this city and I would like to show you why!
In Budapest everything tells a story.
Being a professional musician and a licensed tour guide combined with a great love for history, I will tell you this story from a totally unique perspective.
I have been to over 40 countries so far myself, I love learning about and experiencing new cultures because I think that’s the best way to broaden our horizon.
That’s why my tours are quite interactive and I highly encourage everyone to participate and ask as many questions as you have. (I might even reward some people from the group! 😉 ) Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question!

We really enjoyed our tour with István. It was absolutely worth it, and he shared many interesting facts that we wouldn’t have learned on our own. He made the tour engaging and easy to follow :)
The tour was really interesting, especially because we had a lot of history in it. The guide was very interactive with us (even gave us some chocolate!), knew a looot about Budapest but also about Hungary. The places we saw were really cool, obviously we couldn't see all Budapest but it was a really really nice introduction. I 100% recommend this particular tour, you'll learn a lot, and he even gave us lots of local adresses for therms, restaurants, pubs... Thanks again Ivstan!
