Hi, my name is István! I was born and raised in Hungary and I am happy to call Budapest my home for over 10 years now.
I have a huge love for this city and I would like to show you why!
In Budapest everything tells a story.
Being a professional musician and a licensed tour guide combined with a great love for history, I will tell you this story from a totally unique perspective.
I have been to over 40 countries so far myself, I love learning about and experiencing new cultures because I think that’s the best way to broaden our horizon.
That’s why my tours are quite interactive and I highly encourage everyone to participate and ask as many questions as you have. (I might even reward some people from the group! 😉 ) Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question!

István was really professional, we had an amazing time on this tour! It was incredibly interactive and dynamic, far from the usual boring history lesson. You can really tell that Istvàn is passionate about what he does. Since he lives here, he shares the kind of insider knowledge and love for the city that only a local can have. It felt like exploring the city with a friend who truly cares about his roots. Highly recommended!
This tour was both interesting and so much fun! We got exactly the only-a-local-can-provide information you won't get when walking around with AI ;) Ishtvan wasn't afraid to give us a sneak peek into the local minds, including the "grey" controversial topics some might want to avoid. He was witty, taking care of us, making sure we're getting what we came for, open to literally any questions... Can't but recommend!
