My name is István, a musician and a licensed tour guide, and I have been doing walking tours in Budapest for the last 6 years. I really love this city, and I would like to show you why! I have a performing arts degree in drum performance and a huge love for history so we will discover Budapest in a very fun, unique and unusual way. The experience is quite interactive and I highly encourage everyone to participate and ask as many questions as you have. What a wonderful treat to join Istvan for a superb, multi-faceted tour of Budapest, ranging from sights basic — whimsical and grim — to the sublime. Very clear, focused, and engagingly presented, with a clever wrap-up quiz at the end to remind the participants what they had learned. We learned plenty of history, culture, some politics, and local color. Many great insights into Hungary’s complicated and controversial past history.
