Hi, my name is István! I was born and raised in Hungary and I am happy to call Budapest my home for over 10 years now.
I have a huge love for this city and I would like to show you why!
In Budapest everything tells a story.
Being a professional musician and a licensed tour guide combined with a great love for history, I will tell you this story from a totally unique perspective.
I have been to over 40 countries so far myself, I love learning about and experiencing new cultures because I think that’s the best way to broaden our horizon.
That’s why my tours are quite interactive and I highly encourage everyone to participate and ask as many questions as you have. (I might even reward some people from the group! 😉 ) Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question!

This tour was honestly so good; I would 100% recommend it. This was my second time in Budapest and I honestly wasn’t expecting to find something like this, but I’m so glad I did since it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Istvan was such a great guide and it didn’t feel like a typical tour at all, more like being shown around by a friend. Getting to try all sorts of Hungarian food with him there made a huge difference. He had us try some food I never would’ve found on my own, and everything was absolutely DELICIOUS, and felt really authentic.
