Hi, my name is István! I was born and raised in Hungary and I am happy to call Budapest my home for over 10 years now.
I have a huge love for this city and I would like to show you why!
In Budapest everything tells a story.
Being a professional musician and a licensed tour guide combined with a great love for history, I will tell you this story from a totally unique perspective.
I have been to over 40 countries so far myself, I love learning about and experiencing new cultures because I think that’s the best way to broaden our horizon.
That’s why my tours are quite interactive and I highly encourage everyone to participate and ask as many questions as you have. (I might even reward some people from the group! 😉 ) Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question!

We really enjoyed our walking tour with István. István was amazing guide — super knowledgeable, friendly & energetic, and made the whole tour really fun. He kept things engaging by asking questions along the way, and even gave out classic Hungarian chocolate to the winners, which was a nice touch. We learned a lot without it ever being boring. amazing tour ! very conscious of the place he's showing, regarding history and past actions of people. really puts you in perspective. also, fun & interesting facts, and even better, music related! istvan runs a page of recommendations that's really of use if you want to get to know budapest. kudos to istvan!
