My name is Mulondo Bimbasa, and I live in Jinja, Uganda, a place I love for its vibrant culture, friendly people, and the beauty of the River Nile. I am passionate about community work, cultural exchange, and creating meaningful connections with people from around the world.
Travel is one of my biggest inspirations,I enjoy exploring new cultures, learning different ways of life, and sharing my own experiences. Each journey has given me memories and lessons that shape who I am today.
I also pursued a bachelor of degree in Toursim & Hospitality at the Jinja Hotel and Tourism Training Institute with an experience of 4 years in the industry and many places that l’ve been around Jinja city.
The guide, Alex, was a really friendly person. The content of the tour however should be improved. We would have loved to get information about the history of the city but unfortunately Alex told us nothing about it. Another interesting aspect would have been local food, festivals, drinks, traditions, as well as some facts about economy, social and political life. A positive example was the guide of the museum that we visited during the tour: He showed us physically how to play ugandan "chess" and he recommended a place for a local brewed drink as well as local food for afordable prices. Alex however often told us obvious things. For example when we passed a petrol station he told us that this is a petrol station. Moreover, the length of the tour should not be extended to much. After more than three hours we had to tell Alex that we would like to end the tour otherwise the tour would still have continued.
