Mein Name ist Mulondo Bimbasa und ich lebe in Jinja, Uganda, einem Ort, den ich wegen seiner lebendigen Kultur, seiner freundlichen Menschen und der Schönheit des Nils liebe. Ich engagiere mich leidenschaftlich für Gemeindearbeit, kulturellen Austausch und knüpfe wertvolle Kontakte zu Menschen aus aller Welt. Reisen ist eine meiner größten Inspirationen. Ich genieße es, neue Kulturen zu entdecken, unterschiedliche Lebensweisen kennenzulernen und meine eigenen Erfahrungen zu teilen. Jede Reise hat mir Erinnerungen und Lektionen beschert, die mich zu dem gemacht haben, was ich heute bin. Ich habe außerdem einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Tourismus und Gastgewerbe am Jinja Hotel and Tourism Training Institute erworben und verfüge über vier Jahre Erfahrung in der Branche und habe viele Orte rund um Jinja besucht.
The guide, Alex, was a really friendly person. The content of the tour however should be improved. We would have loved to get information about the history of the city but unfortunately Alex told us nothing about it. Another interesting aspect would have been local food, festivals, drinks, traditions, as well as some facts about economy, social and political life. A positive example was the guide of the museum that we visited during the tour: He showed us physically how to play ugandan "chess" and he recommended a place for a local brewed drink as well as local food for afordable prices. Alex however often told us obvious things. For example when we passed a petrol station he told us that this is a petrol station. Moreover, the length of the tour should not be extended to much. After more than three hours we had to tell Alex that we would like to end the tour otherwise the tour would still have continued.
