Rafael fue un excelente guía. Nos explico todo muy bien, nos llevo a lugares interesantes y estuvo muy pendiente de nosotras. Dio muy buenas recomendaciones para seguir conociendo Cali después del tour. Muy recomendado.

Like the Afro-Colombian tour I took with Andres, my group tour turned into an unplanned private one.
The tour is in Spanish (not my native tongue), so there were some things I didn't fully understand. However, when this occurred, Andres was willing to explain again using vocabulary in line with my current Spanish-speaking level.
The tour was a fascinating experience for a few reasons. Andres' knowledge and engaging storytelling brought the history and background of Cali culture to life. The city of Cali's innovative use of cable car stations as tourist attractions added a unique element to the tour, making it accessible to all physical abilities. The vista overlooking the commune and Cali was beautiful as much as it was telling. The rooftops of the homes made it clear that not all residents were as financially secure as others.
I asked a lot of follow-up questions at each stop because I was so interested, and Andres patiently answered each one. Note: My personal level of interest doesn't mean that others will have the same level of interest.
Because of another review, I was aware the tour would remain within the cable car system that overlooks Commune 20.

Espectacular el conocimiento que transmite Rafael, súper recomendado! Tiene un excelente conocimiento a nivel cultural de la ciudad y a su vez de todo lo que recorrimos, un tour muy completo. Se siente lo importante que es para el poder hacer entrar en confianza a los visitantes y hacernos sentir parte de la ciudad.

Sehr cooles Erlebnis, den Gipfel bei Dämmerung zu erreichen, die Aussicht zu geniessen und im Dunkeln wieder runter zu kraxlen. Wenn ihr die Abend-Toue bucht, ist es ratsam, eine Stirnlampe mitzunehmen. Ruben war sehr professionell und hat viel zur Stadt / Umgebung erzählt.

The tour was truly amazing. You could feel Juans love for his home city and how the whole tour was planned whole-heartedly. The tour didn't only include facts about Salsa, it also included recommendations for food and drinks to try, a quick salsa lesson and a lot about history and culture. Juan was super nice and his English is easy to understand. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! 10/10

My partner and I were thoroughly impressed with the tour. Andres was a lot of fun and his English was PERFECT! He went above and beyond! We had lots of different food and learnt a lot about the beautiful city of Cali. Thank you for having us ☺️

I booked the tour a few hours before it was supposed to start. That flexibility was greatly beneficial given my work schedule while traveling. Minus the afternoon downpour right before the start of the tour, it was easy to get to the meeting point where Andres was waiting.
Unexpectedly, I found myself on a private tour due to another person rescheduling. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Andres, my guide, was more than willing to help me practice my Spanish. He conducted the tour in Spanish, but whenever I needed clarification, he seamlessly switched to English. It was a truly immersive language-learning experience!
The pace of the tour was nice. We didn't spend too much time in one place or not enough time in another. We stopped and tried some local street food, which was unexpected but nice.
After the tour officially ended, Andres was kind to show me a few other places when he learned I didn't have any place to rush off to at that moment. He was also a gentleman to wait with me while I waited for my ride to pick me up and take me home.
I recommend this tour for singles and groups.
