Ciao! Sono Rudy. Mio padre, mio nonno e persino il mio bisnonno lavoravano nei porti di Rotterdam. Alcuni membri della mia famiglia erano spedizionieri, altri lavoravano nella costruzione navale e nelle fabbriche. Sono cresciuto nelle piccole città intorno a Rotterdam (vicino ai mulini a vento) e ho vissuto a Rotterdam, dove ho studiato cinema all'Accademia d'arte. Dopo di che, ho lavorato e vissuto in Giappone per oltre 15 anni, creando foto e video per le agenzie di viaggio giapponesi. Qualche anno fa, sono tornato a Rotterdam. Ora posso vedere la città sia con gli occhi del posto che con quelli stranieri. Fare passeggiate guidate è un ottimo modo per me di riconnettermi con le mie radici e di avere connessioni significative con persone da tutto il mondo!

The tour was so special and the guide was really nice and had a lot of informations about everything. It was such a nice combination of an art- and a food-tour!🥰 I really recommend it to tourists who visit Rotterdam.
Rotterdam’s street art tour was such a refreshing way to see the city—every corner felt like a gallery with a story. Rudy brought the murals to life with context, humor, and hidden details I would’ve completely missed on my own. It made me appreciate Rotterdam’s creativity on a whole new level. Highly recommend if you want to see the city beyond the usual spots! Also , the information on where to eat the best food in the city was quite helpful . It was even more interesting because of the quirky stories and history behind it . The group was small and intimate .
