Ciao! Mi chiamo Michel. Sono un agente di viaggio francese in pensione e ho avuto la fortuna di visitare molti posti meravigliosi in tutto il mondo. Ai miei tempi, l'idea di un free walking tour non esisteva, quindi ho trovato questo concetto molto interessante. L'ho provato a New York, Venezia e Lubiana e, wow, i tour erano assolutamente fantastici! Vivo in una splendida città a soli 10 minuti di treno dalla Gare du Nord di Parigi. Un biglietto di sola andata da Parigi costa solo 2,50 €, metropolitana inclusa. La mia città è davvero unica: è l'unica vicino a Parigi ad avere un lago, delle terme, un casinò e un ippodromo. La sua architettura è una splendida fusione di stili Art Déco e Art Nouveau. La città è famosa anche per Mistinguett, Amélie Poulain e Henri Moreels, un architetto visionario che ha lasciato un segno indelebile sulla città. Ho deciso di creare questo tour per condividere la mia meravigliosa città natale, una vera boccata d'aria fresca appena fuori Parigi. Ho avuto la possibilità di vivere un anno negli Stati Uniti e sei mesi in Australia, quindi parlo fluentemente inglese. Lo spagnolo è un altro dono, grazie a mia moglie peruviana. Sono appassionato di storia e amo incontrare persone da tutto il mondo. Aiutare i visitatori a scoprire la mia amata città, la cultura francese e l'arte di vivere qui: questo è davvero il mio motto.
We had a great tour with Michele. I like to seek out small, informative and off the beaten track tours and this was perfect! Michele was full of interesting facts and Enghein Des Bains is a delightful town, full of character and charm
Excellent tour. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot, not only about Enghien les Bains, but also about France and the French culture. Michel is a passionate of history, who likes sharing his knowledge. He explains the context surrounding the items observed making the tour very interesting and easy to follow. He speaks Spanish and English fluently!!
Excellent tour—highly recommended. Michel is a native of Enghien-les-Bains so he knows much of history personally. Warm and entertaining. Detailed knowledge of the art-deco architecture, but happy to answer questions on any subject. Very pretty town with a lovely large lake. Gave us a great suggestion for lunch afterwards. Less than 20 minutes from the Gare du Nord.
