Vivo a Glasgow da oltre 20 anni. Sono nato in una città chiamata Ayr, quaranta miglia a sud di Glasgow, ma per molto tempo, prima di trasferirmi qui, ero sempre in visita per godermi la cultura e la vita notturna di questa grande città. Quando finalmente mi sono trasferito qui, è stato per lavorare in teatro. Per un po' sono stato attore ma poi sono diventato regista. In tutto quel tempo, ho conosciuto molto bene la storia di Glasgow. In anni più recenti ho lavorato nel settore del patrimonio, scrivendo libri sulla storia di alcuni quartieri di Glasgow, parlando di Glasgow e incoraggiando le persone a esplorare e scoprire la storia della città. Lavorare come guida turistica è molto divertente. Mi piace molto presentare le persone alla città e condividere alcune storie. Quando non sono in tournée, sono in biblioteca, cerco e scopro altre storie da condividere.
The tour was very interesting and informative, Bruce did an excellent job explaining and pointing out history culture and art
I really enjoyed walking the Tour with Bruce. He is really good in telling stories and has a good pace in delivering information. It is not to packed with data you probably will forget directly after the tour and more filled with interesting and fun stories, that made the whole tour a pleasent time. Besides that, he is areally quick walker and some participants seemed to struggle to follow him on some places, but he stopped and waited patiently on everybody without pushing to tell the next detail on the city and its sights. Thanks for the tour, would absolutely recommend his tour!
