This was such a great tour to see parts of the city you never would as a tourist. You take the metro all the way to the end, then the cable bus all the way out. You can't just leave in the middle, you're sticking around for at least 3 hours. It's incredible that thousands of locals take this trip back and forth to work every day. Great views, great information, beautiful street art from the sky. It was just so unique and unlike any tour I've ever been on. It also doesn't require that much walking, you really are on public transportation most of the time.

Led by our professional guide, Gabi, a congenial group of six set off to explore the Mexico City Metro and the amazing Cablebús. The Cablebús took us high over Iztapalapa, a vibrant working-class neighborhood. It is a true technological marvel and a vital piece of public transit rather than a mere tourist attraction—it is truly wonderful to experience. Gabi is bright, knowledgeable, and thoroughly professional. She speaks perfect, idiomatic English, and her genuine love for her home city shines through every story she tells. We even ended the journey by visiting a local market before heading back. This was one of the most fascinating tours I’ve taken in Mexico City. While it’s not for those with a fear of heights or an aversion to urban mass transit, it is the absolute best way to get a unique, authentic view of the city. I can't recommend it enough!
