I have done many walking tours around the world and I have to say that Alex’s Centro Historico tour (intro to CDMX tour) is the best I’ve done by far! It wasn’t just a tedious recount of history like some tours can be - Alex told stories of ancient legends, provided info on current cultural practices, highlighted important architecture, showed us evidence of how the city is sinking (!!!?), and also shared memories from her own quinceañera. Alex was so animated and enthusiastic when she spoke, captivating the group for the entirety of almost 3 hours. Her use of body language to tell stories was excellent and she was often jumping around in excitement - her energy and bubbly nature was refreshing and infectious. I have already recommended some friends to the tour, and I guess you just need to be lucky enough to have Alex! :)))
