Die Tour hat mir sehr gefallen, es war super dass man abseits der Hauptstraßen vieles entdeckt hat, die man ohne Guide nicht gesehen hätte. Sehr unterhaltsam.
Sahika is a truly cool and charismatic guide! The tour felt very organic, and the discussions flowed naturally across a wide range of topics, from the spots we visited to the broader political, historical, and cultural context. The space she left for questions and discussion made the experience particularly engaging. Sahika was also incredibly helpful in suggesting bars, activities, movies, and music to dig into during and after our stay. If you're looking for something a little different from the regular historical tour, don't hesitate!
interesting tour. good timing as not hot
Very nice tour, good recomedations, worth it! :)
Probably one of the best in Istanbul. A world citizen with a unique personality and style. Also very friendly and extrovert. She does it with love.
had a great time, the guide tried to engage everyone in the discussion and allowed us to talk about a wide range of topics, it was so nice to truly speak to a local and get a down to earth side of Istanbul
Best tour in the town
Amazing free walking tour! Our guide was very friendly, answered every question and gave us a great first insight into life in Istanbul. The perfect start to our trip. Would Highly recommend!
Very good tour! Learn a lot about some the remarkable places of Istanbul, like to 2 main Bazaars and we explored some hidden gems! The guide presented me with very nice stories and we met some locals!
Shahika was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. I really enjoyed her tour, and her style of delivery. It was definitely the highlight of my trip!
First time using Guruwalk was a great experience. Tunahan was very knowledgeable and welcoming. He was very lovely and great to speak with :) Anyone would have a great time with him!
Incredibly knowledgeable and wow, such a good storyteller as well. She managed to turn centuries of complex events into an understandable and entertaining story. A great companion for understanding this beautiful city
Go on this delightfully enchanting tour. You’ll thank yourself later
Never imagined I'd get so much from a tour! Sahika was super friendly and informative. She made the route we went through come alive!!
Tour was insightful and a great help to navigate me through the massive bazaar. From textile to hidden ig spots and art gallery. Tunahan was really patient and knowledgeable.
I had such a great time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the city beyond the usual tourist spots. Our guide Sahika was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing stories and insights you wouldn’t find in a guidebook, and the route took us through vibrant neighbourhoods full of character and hidden gems. The whole experience felt more like exploring the city with a local friend than being on a tour. A fantastic way to see a different, cooler side of Istanbul.
I gained a new admiration of Istanbul and its people, one of the best tours I've ever been on thanks to our guide
This was such a surprising and amazing tour!! We had been to the grand bazaar before. But going on this tour was a completely different experience. The guide showed us some shop that is oldest family owned shop which makes high quality Turkish towels. That was excellent. He also took us to so many off beat places, antique cafe and more which I am sure would be impossible to discover by ourselves. It was a very interesting tour.
He was a legend, he took us to nice places, very hidden spots where only locals go! Was 100% worth it! Highly recommended! He also has a wide knowledge about all the history involved in Grand and Spices bazaars. Such a nice tour guide!
best tour guide in istanbul! the Cool Tour of Istanbul and was great. Easy pace, interesting stories, and spots I wouldn’t have found on my own. definitely recommend!!!
It was a wonderful experience! Besides the wholesome informations and insightful observations she brought forward about the culture and the history, we really enjoyed exploring this beautiful city. Thank you Sahika:) Highly recommended!
