Highly recommend this food tour! Ismarika took us to wonderful places I wouldn't have found myself. The food was an amazing first experience with the Nepalese kitchen. Ismarika is nice company, tells a lot about the food and the country and is very friendly.

This was a great tour. Manoj made a perfect selection of dishes in a few different and interesting spots. Definitely in some places we would not have been without him. He alsof gave loads of information about Nepali traditions, about food and other suspects. His list of recommendations afterwards was valuable. He alsof gave us the contact information of another guide for a workshop we wanted to book. Absolutely a good way to dive deeper into Nepali culture.

I was on a solo tour led today by Smarika as Manoj was busy during the festival. We went to some hidden back alley places but all the food was fantastic. Smarika was very informative and was able to advise what ingredients were used and how dishes were prepared. A highly recommended tour.

This food tour was brilliant! 10/10 I highly recommend it. My guide, Ismarika, was so accommodating and hospitable. She explained the food and drinks really well. I also loved the hidden food spots she took me to.

Apart from a 15 minute section , it was an extremely easy route which shouldn’t pose a problem unless you’re extremely unfit, Several places down tiny alleys which tourists were unlikely to ever discover by chance. Most of the food was pretty unique to Nepal.

Great walk and several hidden gems for foodies. Always interesting to understand the tradition behind food and cuisine and Manoj can do that while walking through narrow streets and taking you to where the local goes. Great!

Loved it! You'll taste different local food in authentic places where locals eat. You won't find them on your own. An amazing experience with a local guide who will take you through culture, food and bustling streets. Do join in! And go on an empty stomach)

Manoj showed us the real Thamel; hidden alleys with gourmet street food you’d never would find by yourself. In a picturesque/photogenic setting you won’t find on Discovery Manoj revealed the real Thamel, guiding us through hidden alleys to gourmet street food that we would never have found on our own. The setting was beautifully picturesque—a genuinely authentic experience you won't find on a mass-market travel channel. His tour was a blessing; it saved us after two nights of aimlessly wandering Thamel, constantly trying to avoid persistent hawkers, chaotic motorbike traffic, and aggressive touts.

Had a great time on the tour with Manoj he is a very nice guy and easy to talk to, answers all the questions he can and teaches you a lot about Nepali food and lifestyle. And being taken to food spots you wouldn’t find unless you knew they were there is a massive bonus, on top of how good the food is! Definitely recommend!
