Sandy has the fine combination of careful historian and wry outlook on life. She listened to our questions and interests and responded to them while also providing an excellent background on New Orleans. Also, she provided a great cafe recomendation!

Sandy was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I never felt rushed and she patiently answered all of my stupid questions. It was a very entertaining and informative and told me things I as a local
Didn’t know. I took the tour to help me when entertaining guests but I think I’ll just have all of my visitors book Sandy instead. Time and money well spent!!

Very interesting tour. You have the possibility to discovery the history of New Orleans in a very different way. Daniel has a lot of expertise and stories to tell.

Waymand is super charismatic and knowledgeable! One of the best tour guides out there.
We booked the tour at the day where there’s an advisory of excessive heat. We met Waymand at the appointed location & time. Waymand was extremely thoughtful, started by taking us into the Church where it has air conditioning to start the tour. As it was extremely hot, Waymand took the initiative to get us transit pass & took advantage of the air conditioned street car to continue the rest of the tour. So… there’s wasn’t too much walking which was fine by us. He was very knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans, gave us juicy tidbits about how the name of Po-boy sandwich came about. Even had cold water for us. If you are ever in New Orleans, we highly recommend you take the tour with Waymand. Thank you Waymand for your thoughtfulness, it was very much appreciated.
Daniel made the cemetery walk ‘come alive’ with interesting stories and fascinating facts. He patiently answered all our questions and we learned so much about New Orleans history and culture in general.

Sandy was absolutely incredible! So knowledgeable and funny! I loved the extensive information history, art, culture and food! She’s an exception tour guide and gave us fantastic recommendations. Love New Orleans more after her tour!
