Free tours Contrasti di New York a New York

Mike, our guide, was in one word, phenomenal. He has so much knowledge about the history of NYC, Brooklyn and the iconic skyline of New York, that we did not realizer how three hours were done. A must for all the history buffs. Take a walking tour with him. You will not regret it.

Free walking tour dei contrasti! Brooklyn locale / Williamsburg / Quartiere ebraico / Zona hipster / Brooklyn / Arte locale.

The tour was a deep dive into the cultural diversities in williamsburg/brooklyn and it was exactly what we were looking for. The guru was very good at keeping the couriosity up during the tour and telling stories and pills of the area around. Suggested!

This tour was excellent. Mike was so knowledgeable about the city — excellent sound system. we walked at a good pace for all teenagers to 80-year-olds. We also found the communications before and during the tour to be very good excellent directions on where to meet. Excellent communication with Mike the day of the event. Really if I could give this tour 10 stars, I would.

Loved this tour. It’s so easy when visiting NYC just to go to the major tourist sites and miss out on areas of real interest. David took us around the various areas of Williamsburg and introduced us to the history and culture. It was a fascinating tour led by someone with great knowledge of the area.

David is a true local who really knows his stuff. As an anthropologist, he brings a fascinating perspective to Williamsburg’s history and how the neighbourhood has evolved. He also knows people around the area, which makes the tour feel personal and grounded in local life. The tour description captures the experience well, a great choice if you want to understand Williamsburg beyond the usual.

The tour was super interesting, David showed New York from a different perspective and I got to learn a lot. The guide put a lot of emphasis on local information and what made the tour really authentic. In the beginning he also asked for our interests so he could make it the most interesting to us. Definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic time on this tour with Jon. Communication before was excellent and he made it easy to find him and join the tour. Bathroom and coffee/snack stops were well timed and there was a back up plan in case something went wrong! He’s clearly very well read, knowledgeable and passionate about his topic and we learned loads about architecture, history and some common conspiracy theories. A highlight was standing in a fire house with the crew working an around us while a senior firefighter told us about his colleagues who were involved in 911 (and didn’t make it). All were proud to tell their stories. Jon was brilliant taking photos, and the results were better than I could have taken. Highly highly recommended!
