Free walking tours in New York Contrasts

Hope that weather permits next time. I got messages from the guide that everyone else canceled the tour because of the weather.

We had an excellent time with Mike. Mike was professional, engaging and funny and we learnt so much about the area.

Me and my family (husband, 2 daughters 14 and 12) did this tour as my bestie recommended a walking tour (she’s done many). It was the best decision. Have been to NYC on many occasions but never walked the Brooklyn bridge or even ventured over to Brooklyn. This was an excellent tour and our guide Mike was fabulous. I will definitely look at doing another tour like this in the future. It’s a great and affordable way to learn more about a place.

The Brooklyn bridge walk over is a must do if coming to New York. Derrick was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on Dumbo, Brooklyn and New York. A must do in New York.

Great tour for anyone curious! Easy but long walk across the bridge and discovery of two adjacent but completely different neighborhoods at the steps of the bridge.

The weather was outstanding which made the tour even more amazing. The location Derrick took us to for the sunset pictures was phenomenal! We had an excellent group and four of us went out for dinner afterwards to finish off the day. The perfect way to end a vacation. Thanks Derrick & Jon for some great tours this past week!

He is a very professional guide. He takes care everyone’s need despite big variety of audience. His role plays presentation made topics are so interesting and much easier to understand. My son who particularly attentive coz I guess he likes history and architecture so much. The walk was amazingly informative and entertaining. A big thumb up to Garuwalk and Mike!

Mike was a perfect guide by despite having a very large group he managed to cover all of the route and brought interesting perspective and related well to everyone of the group.

Great tour, with amazing sights form the Brooklyn Bridge of Manhattan and surrounding areas. Same for Brooklyn itself, Mike did a great job showing us around and telling us interesting stories.

This tour was really nice, we manage to walk along Brooklyn feeling the local vibe and the best spots in town. John was amazing, very knowledgeable and a great storyteller!
