I really enjoyed the tour, Ryan brought a lot of historical information as well as curiosities about the neighborhood. He has great storytelling and he is very kind. I loved that he had the patience to take photos!!

David is very nie guy, he know everyting about the area. very intersting visit around Willianburg, he brought us to good places we wouldnt have discovered on our own.

I really recommend the walk through Brooklyn with Ryan! He walked us past some cute little stores and beautiful buildings and views. He grew up around the neighbourhood so you can really experience Brooklyn through the eyes of a local. He is an amazing guy with a talent for story telling and entertaining people! My boyfriend and I recently got engaged and he even bought us a celebratory pastry! So kind. On top of that Ryan is always ready to answer any questions you might have or take a picture whenever you like. 10/10 experience for us!

I recently had the pleasure of joining a walking tour of Brooklyn led by a fantastic guide named John, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. From the moment we started, John’s enthusiasm for the borough was infectious. He kicked things in a park overlooking City Hall and then we headed across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge—yep we also saw the Instagram spot everyone raves about. But John didn’t just let us snap photos and move on; he dove into the history of the area, explaining how it transformed from an industrial hub to the trendy, arty neighbourhood it is today. As we wandered through Brooklyn Heights, John pointed out charming brownstones and shared stories about the famous writers who once called this place home—think Walt Whitman and Truman Capote. He had this knack for blending historical facts with little anecdotes that made the streets feel alive. I particularly loved his tale about the secret tunnels that supposedly runs nearby; it’s the kind of quirky titbit that sticks with you. The pace was perfect—not too rushed, with plenty of stops to soak in the sights or grab a quick coffee or avail of a toilet break. John clearly knew his stuff, but he didn’t overwhelm us with dry dates or jargon. Instead, he kept it conversational, encouraging questions and even tossing in some local food recs. John’s passion, humor, and deep knowledge made this tour a standout. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime New Yorker, his Brooklyn walk is a must-do. Five stars, hands down!

In just two hours, we covered quite a few different neighborhoods. We did immerse ourselves in the neighborhood (from the oldest sugar factory / brewery, to Jewish orthodox weddings, and hidden Dominican bars). I do feel more familiar with the area now. That said, I found the historical and cultural insights a bit surface-level—I would’ve loved more in-depth storytelling and context. A slower pace, more breaks to take things in, and more detailed explanations would have made the experience even better. The tour guide, David, was very friendly and shared a few food spots / rooftops / clubs recommendations, which is always appreciated.

Jon is the BEST! This was not a tour, but an entire experience. I felt like I was walking through history. Every direction we looked there was a story and an opportunity for photos. This was one of the coolest tours I've ever been on and I highly recommend it. Thank you Jon!

Ryan knows and loves New York City and it shows in how he presents, shares and talks about it! Revisiting Brooklyn Heights as a neighborhood I lived in for many years and gaining a new appreciation for the gems and history (past and present) was the order of the day as we walked around and highlights were shared. I loved his conversational manner and interaction with everyone on the tour making it tailored, interactive, and relatable to his guests. Highly recommend this tour!
