A wonderful tour through different parts of Jodhpur. Information was more about what you wouldn’t get to know from books or museums, but about everyday life. Raj customized the tour without even being asked, just he listened so carefully and found out exactly what type of traveller I was and what I would like to experience and what not. So I got a glimpse of what it is like to live in Jodhpur.

Our walking tour of the Blue City with Raj was amazing! In the early hours of the morning, walking through Jodhpur’s beautiful blue streets with Raj was an absolute delight. His deep knowledge of the area, crisp narration, and thoughtfully chosen routes made the experience truly special. Raj brought the history of Jodhpur to life through wonderful storytelling. It’s impressive to see how well a local knows and loves his city, and his passion really shines through. He was also incredibly considerate of my parents and their health. He was attentive throughout the walk and took extra care of us in areas where street dogs were around, which we really appreciated. My only feedback would be for Raj to advise visitors to carry masks, or perhaps keep some available for guests. Some of the narrow city lanes can be quite dirty and occasionally have strong odors and flies, so a mask would make the experience more comfortable. Overall, we highly recommend Raj for a walking tour of Jodhpur’s Blue Corridor and its outskirts. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and a wonderful storyteller who gives you a genuine local perspective of the city.

Ravinderji is very well spoken kind and professional. He took me around the old city of Jodhpur and also offered to click pictures of me. He was patient. He also took me to the bylanes where locals do their shopping...we ate kachoris local sweets and had tea...it was a lovely experience. Highly recommended.

Ravindra was an excellent tour guide. He showed us the old side of the city and explain a lot about Jhodpur. We enjoyed pyaaz kachori and chai together. He also gave good recommendations for where to explore on our own the following days as well as food recommendations.

Fantastic tour to see Jodhpur - especially if you don't have much time in the city. The guide does an excellent job of showing you the old side of the city, the history, and the best photo spots. We used what we learned from the tour to go explore other areas the next day. I appreciated how he ended the tour at the beautiful hidden lake in the middle of the city.

Rahul ji is an excellent guide—kind, patient, and incredibly thorough. He walked us through the entire Blue City tour, taking time to explain even the smallest details. Since our kids weren’t very comfortable with Hindi, he made a genuine effort to explain everything in English as well. What was initially planned as a 2-hour tour turned into a memorable 6.5-hour experience. Perhaps because it was the off-season, he went above and beyond—taking us not only to historical and cultural landmarks but also to various local eateries to experience authentic Rajasthani cuisine. He shared fascinating insights into the city’s architecture, including how the narrow lanes help keep the area cool, and showed us different parts of the Blue City. The kids especially enjoyed drawing water from a traditional well and tasting its refreshing coolness. Along the way, we also did a fair bit of shopping—clothes, tin décor, leather goods, and other handicrafts—without ever feeling pressured. He introduced us to a wide range of local delicacies, including malai roti, dry fruit lassi, kesar tea, malai ghewar, mirchi bonda, rabdi, shahi samosa, and jalebi from the famous Motu Jalebi Wala. He even helped us shop for authentic Rajasthani spices, all while remaining patient and accommodating. At the end of the day, he ensured we got an auto back to our hotel safely. Overall, I would highly recommend Rahul ji as a friendly and knowledgeable guide for exploring Jodhpur’s old city.

Deepak war das einer der besten Guides die ich je hatte!!! Man merkt das er seinen Job liebt… und das macht seine Tour wirklich einzigartig! Er konnte uns alle Fragen beantworten die uns in den Sinn kamen und er hat uns super viele Orte gezeigt die wir alleine nie gefunden hätten! We had an absolutely incredible day! The tour was wonderful, and it ended up being just my partner and me, which made the whole experience feel much more personal. We laughed a lot with our guide, and he gave us great explanations while also letting us take as much time as we wanted at each attraction. He even took lots of photos for us along the way, which we really appreciated. There are also a few special surprises during the tour that I won’t spoil here — it’s better if you discover them yourselves! But trust me, you won’t regret it. There are some truly special moments that make the experience even more memorable. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, so you can ask him anything and he’ll be happy to help or explain. The best part was that when we mentioned it was my birthday, he made the wonderful gesture of taking us to a rooftop of a hotel (which I also highly recommend visiting, even just for the views) so we could enjoy a birthday cake. They even sang Happy Birthday to me! It turned into such a special moment, and I felt truly welcomed. We had such a great time, and our guide was very, very funny, which made the whole day even better. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience — I would definitely recommend this tour!

We did the Heritage Walking Tour with Raj and it was great! We walked around old town and the blue corridor. We learned a lot about the history of Jodhpur, and local culture and traditions. Raj answered all of our questions, gave us some tips on how to navigate the bazaar, and also bought us some tasty snacks and a very delicious chai! Highly recommend!

Rahul was very interesting mixing history and present day information. Took us through the alleyways so we could see all the amazing wall art and interesting buildings. The sweet tasting and chai were fantastic and we finished with a trip to a fantastic spice shop and vintage shop. He was so helpful to us and to other people not on the tour ,with restaurant and shopping recommendations . A great experience

Sehr tolle Tour, die sich von einer informativen Tour zur Stadt und Geschichte zu einer Street Art Tour entwickelt hat. Raj hat uns durch Straßen geführt, die ich alleine nie entdeckt hätte. So viel schöne Street Art in den engen, blauen Gassen. Dazu noch ein paar Tipps, wo es die besten Lassis, Samosas und Süßigkeiten gibt.

I felt we were so lucky to have Raj as our tour guide, and also it was just us, so we had an extra good experience! Raj is super knowledgable and happy to share all about Jodhpurs history, architecture, ancient culture and modern culture as well, so the tour was fascinating! We felt comfortable asking questions and really enjoyed all of Raj's explanations He was also extra patient with us translating often (thank you!) Even if it meant the tour took longer. I also felt he made an effort to match the tour to us, it was clear that he understands that many tourists want more time with photos which i really appreciate, and since we had many questions he elaborated more in response to our curiousity. But on the other hand he also knows all the best places for amazing photos in the blue city if thats just as important to you! Also i will just add that I felt Raj is very professional in his job and takes it very seriously, he came early to wait for us and communicated clearly which is appreciated as well :)

It was a very nice walking tour, we were just our group of 4. Ravindra explain to us a lot of details of Jodhpur and we walk arround the blue city. We tried some indian sweets and we had a chai together. We spend the hole morning (9 to 13) Thank you Ravindra for your time!
