Free walking tours in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

My partner and I joined the free walking tour of Las Palmas on Friday, 8 August, with Eduardo as our guide. There were only three of us on the tour, which made it feel really personal and engaging. Eduardo was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave a great balance of history, culture, and local insights. We really enjoyed exploring Vegueta and learning stories we’d never have discovered on our own. Highly recommend if you want an authentic introduction to the city!

Really nice, Nauzet was really enthousiastic, you could tell he really loves the Island and the city.

Nauzet was informative and made an effort to involve everyone. He was well prepared and knew his craft. We had the tour on a hot day (heat wave) and he was helpful in keeping us in the shade. We learned interesting facts and stories about the history of Gran Canaria, from ancient to the modern, the indigenous people, colonialism, and architecture. Highly recommended!

Well crafted and interesting tour and very much appreciated that the tour was run on a public holiday. Tour was well paced, mainly around sights in the old town. We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Luis.

Nauzet was friendly and professional. He was enthusiastic and informative. We learned many fascinating information about the city of Las Palma from a tour. I highly recommend this tour if you in the city for a short time, such as a cruise. It is much then wandering the old town area aimlessly on your own.

Luis was absolutely wonderful! His English was excellent. His vocabulary surprisingly extensive. His obvious love for the topic was contagious. He brought visual aids to show us. And he had extreme patience.with those of us wanting to take pictures This was my first guruwalk tour but I will look for others in the future. I am so happy I took this tour!

Our tour guide, Luis, was impressive. He started by handing out an information sheet, with lots of details and QR codes, for us to look up (later at our own leisure). During the tour, he showed us pictures and video clips on his iPad. His English is clear and easy to understand. We really appreciated how well prepared he was.
