The tour was great! I liked the mix of historical facts and local stories. Also, there were many incredible places on our way: amazing architecture, beautiful churches and lovely streets. Luis is very friendly, fun and knowledgable! He answered all our questions and told us about the living on this beautiful island. Overall, we enjoyed our walk through the historical center and learnt so much about Gran Canaria.

Luis is a super friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. As well as historical facts Luis has put together some videos of what trains...etc would have looked like in years gone by. You can ask him more or less anything about the city or the island and he will have an answer. Thoroughly Enjoyable.

Me gusto mucho el tour, con la información justa para no agobiarte con fechas o demasiada historia. Ha sido muy interesante y al ser un grupo reducido podias seguir perfectamente el circuito.Luis ha sido muy ameno. Recomendable.

Luis gave us very interesting information about the places we visited. It was varied and informative as well as surprising, as he had prepared additional things to make the story more memorable. On top of that, he gave us recommendations about other places to visit as well as personal recommendations for restaurants etc. All in all a successful tour! Only recommended!

Best things to see and do in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the most populated city in the archipelago of the Canary Islands as well as one of the most beautiful in Spain. It is located on the northeastern coast of the Gran Canaria Island in the Atlantic Ocean 150 km off the coast of Morocco, where it enjoys what some climatologists refer to as “the best climate in the world.” The main attractions for many tourists are the incredible beaches, but don’t let be the only thing you check out on your vacation to this amazing city.

If you do a pay-what-you-please walking tour in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria accompanied by a local guide, you can get to know the city in a new and interesting way since your guide will help you to discover the hidden charms and give you some great recommendations. Some of the must-see places you should visit on your tour are the UNESCO world heritage sites of the Vegueta and Triana neighborhoods where you’ll find the Canario Museum, the Atlantic Center of Modern Art (CAAM), the Cathedral of Santa Ana, behind which is located The Christopher Colombus Museum House, where the famous explorer stopped over on his trips to the New World. The Pérez Galdós Theater is another beautiful spot to visit on this tropical vacation, and the beaches are an obligatory visit for everyone, including taking a stroll on the Boardwalk at Las Canteras Beach, laying on the gray sand at Lajas Beach, or basking in the sun at Confital Beach.

The pay-what-you-please walking tours in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria have the reviews and customer opinions from other tourists like you who have already done the tour and have left an evaluation of both the tour route and the guide, so you can figure out which is the best option for you and your schedule.
