Yuan was a fantastic guide and such a lovely person. I really enjoyed my time with her and felt grateful to have had her company. She showed me Chengdu in such a calm and relaxed way, and I really enjoyed every moment. 5 stars, well deserved!

Phoebe was a delight! Best English we have found in China. She is enthusiastic, full of useful information and always willing to share. So many of our how-do-things-work in China were finally answered.

I felt like I understood Chengdu so much more after being with Yuan for a few hours. The best walking tours are the ones where you get a good mix of history as well as an understanding of how the local people live. Yuan spoke great English and was really engaging and fun to be around. A great afternoon!

Great walking tour with original stops, a taste of the local culture and a great guide! Camille offered us a local insight in everyday life in Chengdu and took us to places we would have never found on our own. Great tour to experience Chengdu!

Chenyu is friendly and guided us on a what happened to be a solo walking tour. Expect rather a joined stroll through Financial City and to Global Center and Life tree fountain then a touristic information-heavy walking tour. Appreciated Chenyu taking pictures of us and sending us a guide with recommended sites and a hotpot how-to upfront to the tour.

Chengdu is an amazing city, I love the trip and wish to share it with my friends. Amidst the bustling streets, I felt an inner tranquility, for which I owe special gratitude to YUAN for guiding me through a remarkable journey.

Camille helped us understand the Wenshu Monastery and surrounding area very well. She treated us to tea right beside the monastery, and explained everything to us on the culture of Chengdu and the arts from this area. It was a fantastic tour! Camille even went over time with us, as there were only 2 of us. A private tour!

Ye was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Our favorite part was the special tea and trying our hand at calligraphy. Well done!

Wow this was such an amazing tour! Haoqi went above and beyond for us making the tour perfect for us and making changes along the way to make it the best tour ever. Strongly reccomend giving this tour a try!

Camille is a lovely person and I learned a lot from the interesting tour she put together. She introduces and explains Buddhist monastic life and symbolism at wenshu monastery, then explains some fabulous ancient arts in the shopping area, and finally orders the group a vegetarian spring roll. She explains so many items that it wouldn't have occurred to me even to research on my own. Her English is very good. She offered quite a bit of valuable information, and really made the experience enjoyable. She was also willing to help the group with other questions or challenges they were facing in navigating the tourists in China. Highly recommend!

Great guide, enjoyed the tour and places we visited

Can't recommend this tour enough. Haoqi was amazing throughout, very easy to chat to and she gave great attention to my kids on the tour! The market was great and the tea ceremony and calligraphy were very interesting! Thanks for a great tour Haoqi!

It was a very interesting few hours spent with our guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the People's Park and found many interesting tidbits and history about the place and daily activities of the local people. The guide was engaging and friendly. The tour was well paced and we also enjoyed the optional calligraphy and tea tasting session at the end. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is keenly interested in learning more about the local culture of Chengdu.

I had a lovely morning walking around the market and chatting with Chang. I got to learn (and try) a lot about local food and local people’s lives - it was even better as it turned out to just be me on the tour so felt pretty special. After the market, you could choose to go to a temple or go a tea ceremony - I chose the tea ceremony which was wonderful with a great tea master who also taught me some calligraphy. Thank you Chang 😊
