Lovely tour and an amazing guide! The tour was packed with fascinating information from start to finish. We had a great little tour of some of Tashkent's highlights with Donat. He immediately impressed us with how articulate and fluent he was in English - fluent enough to even insert some subtle humor into his commentary, which we enjoyed. We liked taking the metro and also learning a bit about the history and meaning of some of the artwork in the stations. Seeing some actual residences was also interesting and probably not something you'll get to see on most other tours. We were a little pressed for time as we had to go to the airport right after the tour, so we unfortunately couldn't follow up on the many good suggestions and ideas Donat gave us to explore Tashkent further.

A great walking tour. Donat provided a great overview of Uzbek history that helped make sense of the city. The tour was informative and well paced. Really enjoyed the opportunity to interact with traders at the bazaar. Definitely do this when in Toshkent

The tour was a good introduction to Tashkent and Uzbekistan. We saw a lot of sights that we would not have thought of going to see on our own and we got a lot of useful information that helped us understand the things we saw in other cities as well. The guide adapted the tour to our wishes and gave useful tips. The guide also spoke good English and it was easy to ask him for more information.

We liked the tour with Donat very much. He has a huge knowledge about the entire city and the history of Toschkent. He is also quite entertaining and funny as he often makes jokes. And he also remembers a lot of foreign phrases and information that was told to him by other tourists. We can highly recommend this tour.

Being a solo traveler, the first thing doing when visiting a city is to attend a walking tour. Donat was probably the best guide I have ever met. Strongly recommend to invest 3 hours of your time and trust Donat to introduce Tashkend to you. Plus! If you are a football fan you should expect to be positively surprised by his knowledge. Keep doing this nice work Donat!

Madina is knowledgable and accommodating. She encouraged me to try local specialties, helped communicate with local sellers smoothly and also assisted me to take photos. Things that can be improved: instead of standing in one place while introducing an attraction, walking and talking at the same time would be nicer and less awkward. Also I understand it is hard to make yourself heard when the surroundings are loud but it would be much more helpful if you can try speaking louder and slower. Try incorporating more well known destinations and give more time to explore. Overall a pleasant experience but could use some more enthusiasm! ;)

Donat is easily one of the best walking tour guides I've had. The tour was incredibly entertaining from start to finish, but what impressed me the most was how he connected Uzbekistan's history with major world events, making everything much easier to understand and remember. It never felt like a history lecture—it felt like listening to a great storyteller with an amazing sense of humor and a deep knowledge of both local and global history. Beyond the famous sights, he also shared fascinating cultural insights, local traditions, and plenty of recommendations. The time flew by, and I genuinely could have listened for another couple of hours. If you're visiting Tashkent, don't miss this tour.

Solo eramos 2 personas. La primera parte muy interactiva. a partir de la segunda parte, al ir a la zona antigua dio pocos datos, solo si nosotros preguntábamos. El caminaba solo adelante y estaba atento a su celular. La única forma para trasladarnos de la zona moderna era el taxi según él. Le pedimos ir en subte, como lo hizo nuestra amiga hace dos días y nos dijo que no era posible.

We really enjoyed the route that Madina took us on, a great balance of history and culture. Madina shared a lot of interesting facts about the history of Tashkent, as well as important cultural practices of Uzbek people. She also sent us so many wonderful tips through WhatsApp of things to see and try which helped our days to come. Even though we were the only two people on the tour, she still proceeded with the tour which was great! There are some construction works going on at the meeting point, so we got a little bit confused on where to go but Madina was very responsive and we found her, she was helpfully wearing a nice bright red top which made her easily identifiable. Thanks again Madina for a great walking tour :)
