Graffiti and Public Art tour given by Alex was done in an interesting manner. Alex presented all the details relating to the tour in a manner it entailed surprise element as well. Alex’s goal was to help us slow down, look closer, and truly notice our surroundings—and it absolutely worked. Since the tour, I’ve started seeing so much more in the world around me. I also learned a great deal about graffiti and finally understood its deeper meanings. Alex shares his knowledge in a way that’s both memorable and easy to grasp. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful opportunity to learn not just about graffiti and where to see it, but about the history of graffiti, the art and signatures, social and cultural impacts, how it is promoted and policed by local authorities, collectives of graffiti artists and the subculture. It was much like a class in cultural anthropology. Extremely excellent. Highly recommend!
