Through street art, you get a peek into the mindset of the people. The duality of east and west, the material and immaterial. In addition to the art, you will feel the vibe of a real neighborhood as you go off the beaten path.

🙌👏🥰 Catherine

We had a wonderful walking tour of Tashkent with Don! He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and engaging, making the experience both enjoyable and personal. It was lovely to see local vendors greet him and our group with warm smiles wherever we went—a lovely reflection of the connections he has built within the community. We truly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Don to anyone visiting Tashkent—or, shall I say, “TOSHKENT”? 😜

We really enjoyed our tour with Madina, learning about the country, traditions and what shapes society. Madina is very knowledgeable regarding history, her way through the busy bazaar, the stories behind the unique metro stations and offered many recommendations on places to eat and visit. We highly recommend Madina as your guide through the city.

Our tour guide Don, was absolutely amazing! He engaged with everyone in the group, shared a wealth of interesting information, and brought the tour to life with his great sense of humor. Thanks to him, we had the pleasure of trying some delicious Uzbek food for the first time, which made the experience even more special. He also speaks English and Spanish fluently, making communication effortless. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tashkent. An unforgettable experience!

I enjoyed this tour. It was a bit different to other walking tours in that we spent a lot of time in the market rather than visiting many sights. In the market we learnt about the national dress, traditional furniture, uzbek weddings and wedding dresses and then we also went on to the food section and tried lots of different foods. It was all very interesting. Madina also seemed very happy to share details about her life.

Unique walking tour in Tashkent city

Interesting tour full of very detailed information. We took this tour late afternoon in October and unfortunately it got too dark to see some of the places and the metro was very busy. Good tour if you want detailed info about buildings, statues and metro stations which are now listed as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.
