Discovering Quito from the sky 15390 ft
¡I travel around Ecuador, discovering manifestations, exploring amazing landscapes and sharing with travelers who visit this piece of land in the middle of the world!
We go to the Rucu Pichincha volcano (4690 m). We will ascend from 9515 feet in Quito to the top of the volcano, 15390 feet above sea level. The first way is by cable car, a pleasant 18-minute trip to Cruz Loma, while we can take beautiful pictures of the city, from north to south, and admire the change of ecosystem in a few minutes. Here we will start walking through Andean grasslands and mountains. The entire trip will last approximately 7 hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., depending on the weather conditions and the physical conditions of the traveler.
