Tour description
This tour will take a historical path, through one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of the city of Santiago, starting at a neuralgic point where the old and the modern of our capital converge, which is the entrance to the old Quinta Normal de agricultura and the Museum of Memory and Human Rights and its surrounding history We will continue on foot, advancing through the alleys and passages, which will remind us of a time of economic and political glory, which preserves classical architecture and allows us to travel to the past, as if we were really there, at the doors of the ancient “French Hairdresser”. We go through the main avenues, where various anecdotes are woven, such as the "Galán de la Burra" and places of mystery and death, such as the "Yungay Ghost Station". We will continue to the "Roto Chileno" square and we will learn stories of patriotic heroism, in the context of the War against the Peru-Bolivian confederation of the 19th century. From there we will go to Plaza Brasil, a meeting point for local and migrant citizens and place of the beautiful "Church of the Precious Blood."
