Our mural tour in Jalatlaco with Vanja exceeded our expectations Of it wasn’t for this your, we may have missed the ambience of this beautiful UNESCO protected neighborhood But now for the tour.. Vanya’s knowledge and exuberance kept our attention throughout The murals were beautiful and she filled in the space with stories that offered us many insights to the culture; whether it was about the Day of the Dead, feminism, political unrest, or the Zapatotec legends and symbols. It was our first day in Oaxaca and this tour set the tone for a visit we won’t forget Thanks much

Awesome tour! Our tour guide, Braulio, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He shared a wealth of information about the street paintings, the artists, techniques used by the artists, themes, symbolism, related art history, and Oaxacan culture and customs - and in a fun and engaging way. I would love to do other tours with him the next time I’m in Oaxaca.
