Not every place can boast of more than 2,600 years of history , since the Phoenicians founded their first colony in the southern zone. Or of a unique biodiversity , whose ocean floors and marine species have been recognized worldwide. Today we want to present the jewel of Ibiza : Dalt Villa (The upper city), a castellated population located on a rocky promontory that gave rise to contemporary Ibiza. After centuries of history and innumerable political, social and economic vicissitudes, Dalt Villa's walls and Renaissance buildings are still standing, making the city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999 .
Dalt Vila is a city that seems to have stopped in time.
