Description
We will meet at Jadranski trg (Adriatic Square) at the designated time (check the dates!) and during our walk, you will see some very interesting and unique places within the city center, as well as hear stories about how Rijeka used to be the largest port of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and how the city has developed over the centuries.
This tour includes:
- Adriatic Square (Jadranski trg)
- Venetian house
- Korzo (the main square with cafes and the clock tower)
- Old town and ancient Roman post of Tarsatica
- Cathedral of St. Vitus
- Leaning tower of Rijeka
- Old city harbor pier
- National Theatre
- Central Market (morning tour only, adds 10 minutes) and Turkish house
- City port
- We will end our free tour at a pier in the port, where many luxury yachts are anchored today.
- This tour is offered only in English. You are encouraged to tip your guide at the end of the tour.
