Dalen was a fantastic guide! He is incredibly knowledgeable and an amazing storyteller who made the history and culture of Rovinj so fascinating and easy to absorb. We learned so much more than we expected to. Plus, his insider restaurant recommendations were spot on. Don't hesitate to take a tour with him!

A few days earlier we did the tour in Pula lead by Dalen. We enjoyed that so much, we booked his tour in Rovinj. He speaks excellent English, is a history teacher by profession & talks about the local history with passion & feeling. He also gives pointers & restaurant tips about the local cuisine & places to eat. We find Guru walks an excellent start to any stay in a historic town or city, you find out so much in a few hours that would take you a week or so under your own steam. You then have a far better understanding of where you want to spend the next few days. Excellent guide & tour in Pula & Rovinj Thank you Dalen.

Dalen was fantastic! He is a history teacher and very knowledgeable. We learned so much from him. He also gave us recommendations on types of food and local items that represent Istria to take back home. Very comprehensive and highly recommended.

It was a very interesting tour with all the right anecdotes to make it more interesting than just a historical overview. We appreciated the knowledge and the honesty about when something was a known fact and when something was a legend or his own theories. We had a great walk with Dalan and would recomend this tour!

Dalen was a great guide full of knowledge and local folklore, I loved the local legends. Was an entertaining walk and the recommended gelato was just what the doctor ordered after a hot walk. Ravinj has a beautiful old town, with great cobbled streets .and rich history. Thank you Dalen.
