What will we see?
The "Silos", for grain storage (16th century), are undoubtedly the main attraction of this city near the capital of Turia. Their purpose is to keep the grain in good condition for long periods, even decades. Specifically, wheat was stored, as it is a cereal that can be preserved for a long time without losing its properties. To remain in good condition for such a long time, the silos must remain hermetically sealed. The Palace of San Juan de Ribera (18th century) has its origins in the Middle Ages, after this person built it as a place of rest and turned it into a residential palace. This Juan de Ribera left it to the Royal College of Corpus and at the end of the 19th century, it was auctioned due to state confiscation. The Church of San Miguel (18th century), the House of Culture, and the Town Hall (1915) make up the tourist attractions of Burjassot. Here you will find the Science campus of the University of Valencia, as well as the facilities of Radiotelevisió Valenciana.
