What will we see?
The "Silos", for storing grain (16th century), are undoubtedly the main attraction of this town near the capital of Turia. Their purpose is to preserve cereals in good condition for a long time, even decades. Specifically, wheat was stored as it is a cereal that can withstand a long time without losing its properties. To last so long, the Silos must remain hermetically sealed. The Palace of San Juan de Ribera (18th century) has its origins in the medieval era, after which this figure built it as a resting abode and adapted it as a residential palace. This Juan de Rivera donated it to the Royal College of Corpus, and by the end of the 19th century, it was auctioned off due to state disentailment. The Church of San Miguel (18th century), the House of Culture, and its Town Hall (1915) make up the tourist attractions of Burjassot. Here are located the Science Campus of the University of Valencia, as well as the facilities of the Valencian Radio and Television.
