Free Tour through the Havana of yesterday and today

We will begin this free tour of Havana at the University of Havana , it was the first in Cuba and one of the first Universities in America, making it the cradle of transformations in Cuba, which is located in the Vedado neighborhood.
We will continue our guided tour discovering curiosities that are part of the city through one of the oldest avenues: The Ave de San Lázaro where every year the university students carry out the March of the Torches in commemoration of the birth of our national hero "José Martí" .
Arriving in this way at Callejón de Hamel in the Cayó Hueso neighborhood, it is the largest gallery of open-air murals , it has its own personality with its particular smells, flavors and sounds that have made it an emblematic and picturesque place in my city (you can taste a cocktail centenary rescued from the historical notes of the African descendants who arrived as slaves in Cuba), created by Salvador Gonzales, sculptor, painter and muralist, transforming it into a community project to spread Cuban culture.
We will visit the almost forgotten remains of the old Espada Cemetery with a history that marked the city since the time of the Spanish colonization in Cuba.
Traveling through the streets of the neighborhood you will know who we are and how we live in today's Cuba, culminating in the emblematic Malecón Habanero.

The tour lasts 3 hours
