I am an authorized guide of Rome and its province and for more than 20 years I have been involved in the illustration of the treasures of Rome with dedication and passion for cultural diffusion. In addition to a first degree in Political Science, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and another in Classical Archaeology. I like to tell the history and art of Rome, always trying to stimulate the attention and curiosity of the participants in my tours.
Would you like to know the wonders of the Vatican Museums so much? Don't have a reservation and think it's worth queuing up?
Surely a visit to the Eternal City cannot fail to include the Vatican Museums! We will discover this complex full of art treasures together, in a journey of about two and a half hours, which will include the most significant ancient statues of the collection, the frescoes by Raphael, and then finish with the frescoes by Michelagelo. The path will end right in the Sistine Chapel, which I will explain previously, as it is not allowed to speak inside.
If you really want to understand the wonders of the Vatican Museums with an in-depth guided tour, don't hesitate to book!
We will enter without a reservation, so please be patient for any queue. The ticket is 17 euros for adults and 8 for children (under 26 if students with a student card). Punctuality is recommended: 5 minutes after the meeting we will go together to the entrance.
If there are more than 8 participants, there will be an additional cost of 1.5 euros for the earphones. At the end, if you leave the Sistine Chapel by 5pm, you will have the opportunity to visit St. Peter's Basilica on your own.
I will be in the center of Piazza Risorgimento with a sign "Guru walk Vatican Museums" near the terminus of tram 19
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
