Multi Flavors Food Tour in Casablanca
I have been a certified tour guide in Casablanca since 2017 and an Airbnb Superhost. After the Arab Spring ignited in 2011 in several North African countries, Libya was one of the countries affected by that virus called Revolution. For this reason, I was invited to travel to a quiet place where there is no shooting. So I decided to travel to Morocco which was a radical investment in my soul and an injection of love for tourism and adventure for me as it was my first time traveling. While I'm here I admired the country and decided to settle in Morocco to have plenty of time to discover its infinite beauty, then I realized that this charm must be shared with visitors, and that's exactly why I'm here ;) Sharing my expertise of the country and culture with you :)
Tour description
Please confirm your attendance by texting me on Whatsapp, otherwise your booking cannot be considered a prove of presence which might cause being ghosted.
My tours are unique because I keep them 100% cultural dedicated with no shopping stops for the purpose of commissions during our walk.
We will have 4-6 food stops in Casablanca's downtown.
As we meet, we will start off our tour with a freshly squeezed juice at a local spot where Moroccans like stop by and have a fresh juice. There are usually big selection of fruits at those juice shops and you pick any combinations you feel like (Orange, Kiwi, Mango, Avocado, Pineapple and more...).
Now it’s time to try the most famous Moroccan soup “Harira”. It’s a tomato based soup with vegetables. We will have it with its perfect pairing “I’ll keep this a secret for now ;)”.
Then, we walk about 5 minutes long to the main food spot. We will have the most iconic Moroccan food that is rich with the Moroccan spices in Tagine (Vegetables with chicken mean or beef)
After that, we will walk to a Moroccan pastry where we can do some shopping for a small collection of Morocco's most famous pastry to take with us to a cafe.
Last but not least, we head off for Green Moroccan tea with mint.
We will sit at a cafe that is centered around a vibrant spot to pair our pastry with a fresh Mint Tea while watching night life passing by the spot.
Eventually, if we pass by interesting street food we will definitely try some.
