I am Diego Barrios Canora, creator of a small tourism company (Barrios de Madrid). My love for the city I live in, the country where I was born, and the history, art and culture of both, has been the engine that drove the development of this project. I hope you will join me on this vertiginous and encouraging journey through the history of Madrid, its streets, its citizens, its traditions... I am an official tourist guide and a friend of the Royal Economic Society of Matritense Friends of the Country (RSEMAP). Regarding my studies, I am a senior technician in Tourist Information and Marketing, graduated in Law and I have a master's degree in Planning and Management of Tourist Destinations. In addition, I took the PREDIF course on Accessible Tourism for All People.
Madrid is a city that traces its history back to the time of the Arabs and that since then has not stopped growing in history and size. It has a large number of palaces, churches and museums.
During the tour we will visit the points that I like the most in the center of the capital and that I would recommend to a friend who wants to visit my city.
Since I am an official guide and a lover of history, the route I propose is designed for people who want to understand our culture, customs and traditions . Always from a truthful, entertaining and curious perspective.
