Gaudi and modernism at night
When you decide to travel, don't you feel an emotion that you can't explain? An adrenaline that invades you, makes you smile and leaves you breathless? We call this almost inexplicable feeling Resfeber: that emotion of something new that is about to arrive and you don't know where it might take you. Behind this project is me: Maribel and I want to invite all travelers, not so travelers or curious inhabitants, to get to know the wonderful city of Barcelona in a closer way, so that they can enjoy it to the fullest and perhaps end up falling in love, like me.
Tour description
We are going for a night walk through a true open-air museum through the streets of Barcelona.
We begin by telling you how the city was formed to, little by little, get to know the emblematic buildings of the modernist era.
We not only want you to observe the beauty that stands out at first glance, we also want you to know the stories behind it: Indians who migrated to build their homes here, constructions today considered works of art that were not appreciated at the time, the origin of " the flower of Barcelona”, the famous story of “the apple of discord”, a reflection of a moment of splendor in architectural art, stories of historic bars frequented by artists such as Dalí or Picasso.
We will visit Passeig de Gracia and its most representative houses: Casa Malagrida, Casa Lleó Morera, Casa Amatller, Casa Batlló and Casa Mila. During the tour we will invite you to find the symbols of Saint Jordi in the city, while we tell you about his famous legend.
The star of our tour will be Antoni Gaudí. You will learn about his history, his works, his artistic techniques and we will end the tour by visiting the building that was his masterpiece and to which he dedicated himself exclusively for the last 14 years of his life: The Sagrada Familia.
This church is one of the most important buildings in the modern world and has been under construction since 1882. We tour its impressive facades and you will find out all the details built and to be built.
Some of the places we will visit:
- Passeig de Gracia
- Rocamora House
- Discord's Apple
- Casa Lleo Morera
- Amatller House
- Casa Batllo
- Casa Milá (La Pedrera)
- The Holy Family
