FT Santiago - A walk through where it all began
Tour description
I invite you to walk the streets of the center of this beautiful city with a different, participatory and educational perspective. You will know and learn stories and situations that ordinary people do not know and thus you will be able to have a very different perspective.
The tour includes:
- Plaza de Armas and downtown Santiago: We will learn about its indigenous past, the changes it has had throughout the different historical periods, why they decided to establish the capital in this place and finally the role it currently plays in Santiago society.
- Cerro Santa Lucía: The conformation of the hill, its indigenous importance and the changes that it has had and that have transformed it into a characteristic postcard of the city.
- Lastarria neighborhood: One of the bohemian neighborhoods that the city has, we will learn about its history and visit its extensive craft fair, as well as various tourist and gastronomic points that it has.
- Forest park. The transformation of this place from being part of the Mapocho River to the Park we know today.
