TOUR "EROTIC AND HISTORIC RED LIGHT DISTRICT"
⭕⭕⭕
I chose this fascinating place, full of myths, enigmatic and beautiful, and I present it as it deserves, with dignity, with class, and not in a crude manner as is customary, in a personalized, high-quality tour as are ALL my excursions.
The tour through the RED LIGHT DISTRICT is a “Box of surprises“ that we will open in a unique architectural setting in the world. I explain it without restrictions on topics, WITH CLEAR AND RESPECTFUL LANGUAGE and without abandoning the CULTURAL profile of the tour, where I embrace the beautiful history of the district and the worldly life of the port of Amsterdam, where prostitution has been housed from the Middle Ages to our days.
In the 20th century, the arrival of heroin, a hard drug, left a deep mark on Dutch society.
Through the Red Light District have walked nuns, priests, rich and poor, children, sailors, German soldiers in World War II, the painter Rembrandt, Mozart, drug addicts, scientists, criminals, millions of tourists, and among them all, the girls offering pleasure: therefore, we will also have history, art, science, and the rich cultural life that emerged centuries ago in the Red Light District, supported by photos and illustrations that will make our excursion even more entertaining and also with good doses of humor.
More than 20 interviews I conducted with prostitutes allow me to tell you firsthand what happens from the moment the sex worker opens the door of her “brothel-window“ to the client, how her service is negotiated and the surprises that clients sometimes encounter!!! We will see how the way of offering sex has changed over the centuries in this same place. Added to this are the coffeeshops, gay life, art, live sex shows, churches for the repentant, drugs, the forbidden, the permitted, cultural festivals and the decriminalization of marijuana, its characters and inhabitants, etc. Everything takes place in a tour of iconic and historic places of the Red Light District in a unique setting in the world in my old city of Amsterdam.
