TOUR "EROTIC AND HISTORICAL RED LIGHT LIGHT"
⭕⭕⭕
I chose this fascinating place, full of myths, enigmatic and beautiful, and I present it as it deserves, with class and not in a crude way as is customary, in a personalized, high-quality tour as ALL my excursions are, and which complements my other traditional historical tour through the "Historic Center".
A walk through the Red Light District is a treasure trove of surprises that we'll uncover in a unique architectural setting. I 'll explain everything without restrictions on topics , using clear and respectful language, while maintaining the tour's cultural focus. I'll explore the fascinating history of the district and the vibrant life of Amsterdam's port, where prostitution has thrived from the Middle Ages to the present day.
The 20th century saw the arrival of heroin, a hard drug that left a deep mark on Dutch society.
The Red Light District has seen the likes of nuns, priests, the rich and the poor, children, sailors, German soldiers in World War II, the painter Rembrandt, Mozart, drug addicts, scientists, criminals, millions of tourists, and among them all, the girls offering pleasure: therefore, we will also have history, art, science, and the rich cultural life that arose centuries ago in the Red Light District, supported by photos and illustrations that will make our excursion even more entertaining and also with good doses of humor.
More than 20 interviews I conducted with prostitutes allow me to tell you firsthand what happens from the moment a sex worker opens the door of her "brothel-display" to a client, how her services are arranged, and the surprises clients sometimes encounter! We'll see how the way sex is offered has changed throughout the centuries in this very place. Add to that the coffeeshops, gay life, art, live sex shows, churches for the repentant, drugs, the forbidden, the permitted, cultural festivals, and the decriminalization of marijuana, its characters and inhabitants, etc. All of this unfolds during a stroll through iconic and historic locations in the Red Light District , a unique setting in the world, in my old city of Amsterdam.
🔴 STARTING POINT OF THE WALK 🔴
The National Monument , a white column located in Dam Square . I'm carrying a white umbrella with black letters that say SPANISH , nothing else, no colors or flags. I'll send you a photo of myself, a map, and a photo of the starting point via WhatsApp so you can find me. See you there!

⭕ SUGGESTIONS ⭕
• Do not book or register for another activity for at least one hour after the tour ends, in order to recharge your energy and to have time to arrive at the other activity relaxed and without scheduling conflicts.
• Check the weather forecast, wear appropriate clothing for the cold or heat, sun protection, and an umbrella or raincoat, if the weather warrants it.
