You are finally here! If you would like to discover the city like a local, join me on my free tour!
It will be about knowing the history of the west of Montevideo . Heritage buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries are observed and some stories of illustrious families that lived in the area are told. If you come to Montevideo for more than one day, you cannot miss visiting the Prado , since this area is an important part of the city's historical evolution.
We will pass through the key monuments of the city, such as:
- The farms of Storace, Berro, Lussich, Butler and Eastman
- Some monuments such as the Stagecoach, Maria Stagnero de Munar and Maria Eugenia Vaz Ferreira
- The Rural Association of Uruguay (exhibition site)
- the rose garden
- The Hotel del Prado and the Cordier fountain
- The church of the Carmelites
