Oslo became an interesting city for modern murals since large walls were left vacant after the real estate collapse in 1899.
World-renowned street artists have turned Toyen, a working-class part of the town, into an open-air gallery.
You will see more than 20 gigantic murals on this 1,5 hours tour. International names like Phlegm, Ariz, and QBic with their quite unique style are represented as well as Norwegian artists like Moi and Kverneland.
You will learn the story behind each art piece, how this Toyen-project came to this part of town, and get to “know” the artists themselves.
