La Rambla and surroundings: A walk through the history of Barcelona.
Tour description
Walking down Rambla is one of the most beautiful experiences in Barcelona. This street full of life and history is one of the backbones of the history of the city and the country.
We will wind along the Rambla and the surrounding streets, discovering corners full of magic and authenticity. From a critical perspective, I will tell you stories that will take you back to the past centuries of the capital of Catalonia. We will not only talk about history, but also about gastronomy and traditional festivals, because this street has all that and much more to offer!
We start at the end of the street where it enters the Eixample, we discover the remains of the upper tombs of the old city, we pass some of its monasteries, I show you some of the city's oldest shops and restaurants, we visit the city's most famous market and finally arrive at the harbor, which has been the entrance to the city since ancient times.
Come with me to discover the Rambla and its surroundings and walk through two thousand years of history!
