I have been in the tourism sector for 20 years working in different areas of hospitality, as a travel agent and tour guide... Part of that experience I have acquired during my 15-year stay traveling the world. I returned to my land where I have specialized in guided tours to show its rich heritage. Working as a guide in the Cocentaina castle from where the first glimpses of the important medieval past of these lands were given.
Through a historical walk, we will stop in the medieval era of the city, this being the most exciting stage to discover its Christian town and its raval.
We will walk through its streets, we will get to know corners, facts and historical figures.
We will visit the Palau Comtal discovering the stories hidden in each room. (Entry fee €1.50/person)
I will be at the entrance door to the building next to the tourist office.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
