Üsküdar is located in the Asian side of Istanbul along the Bosphorus Shore. It is a charming and predominantly residential neighborhood of İstanbul. Although the district is densely populated, it has many greenery areas, Bosphorus seaside and lots of parks. Uskudar has a magical atmosphere and remarkable architecture. It has many historic buildings and historical mosques.

Originally built in 1548 in Üsküdar on the Asian side of Istanbul by the great architect Sinan, Mihrimah Sultan Mosque is a grand piece of religious architecture and a dominant figure in this historic neighborhood.

•Valide-i Cedid Mosque

It was built between 1708 and 1710 on the iskele (pier) road by Emetullah Râbi'a Gülnûş Sultan, mother of SultanAhmed III.
