Begin at the Hôtel de Ville, the Mayor has to give up the old town hall as the Nazis are the new occupants.
The Marais nearby, the traditional Jewish Quarter is harassed by Nazis as they & the Milice (French fascist police) begin rounding up Jews to send to the concentration camps.
Will it suffer Allied aerial bombardment?
Street signs change, Swastika flags appear. German soldiers mix with Parisians, some are very friendly, others are very hostile. Most keep a low profile and hope for a libération. But when?
